Divisionwide Parent Survey
Don’t miss the chance to tell PWCS what you think!
How do you rate your child’s school and the education programs in our county? The Prince William County School Board wants to know. All parents or guardians of students enrolled in Prince William County Public Schools were mailed a survey in English or Spanish on January 13 to measure parent satisfaction and determine how well the School Division is meeting the instructional needs of students. The February 3 deadline for returning the survey is approaching fast. Don’t miss this opportunity.

WAY TO GO, GOLDEN EAGLES!
Recently announced by Governor McDonnell and the Virginia Department of Education, are the names of schools from across the Commonwealth to earn 2012 Virginia Index of Performance (VIP) awards for advanced learning and achievement. The incentive program recognizes schools that far exceed minimum state and federal accountability standards and achieve excellence goals established by the governor and the board. Rosa Parks Elementary is proud to be one of the 188 schools to receive the Board of Education Excellence Award. Great job, Golden Eagles!

Prince William County Public schools has implemented a new parent communication system. Please read the PWCS Parent Portal announcement for information about the Parent Portal and registration instructions. Please Note that your School Fusion User name and Password from last year is inactive.
To register, click on the Yellow Parent Portal Registration button on the left side of this web page.
Within 2 - 5 days after submitting the online form, you will receive an email. Bring it, along with your photo ID, to the front office at Rosa Parks ES from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, Monday - Friday for account activation.
